I am a former teacher turned technical support agent who found a passion and love for coding.

About two years ago I decided I wanted more from my career - plus I really love learning. So, I decided to teach myself how to code. I started with HTML5 and CSS3, then moved on to JavaScript, PHP, Python, and Go. And I've never looked back!

Working remotely for a SaaS company as a technical support agent gave me the opportunity to work with our Development Team, ask them questions and learn from them. Since I had to go about my learning in an unconventional way, this was a key to pushing me just a little further.

My love for code has become almost an obsession, as I practice, read, and learn in every free minute I can get. I completed a Front End Development course through Bellarmine University and CodeLouisville in order to really fine-tune those skills and become the best that I can be. Thanks to that opportunity and constantly learning more on my own, I found a job as a Software Developer for a local tech company.

I live with my husband, Patrick, our son, Landon, and newborn daughter, Luna. We love going to Louisville City FC games and playing FIFA on the weekends.

When I'm not coding (which isn't often these days) I love watching, reading about and podcasting about soccer, cooking, and spending time with my family.
